On 28th September 2012 London will be host to the fourth annual Big London Night Walk! It will be our biggest and best yet and will see over 600 people take to the streets of London to help The Big Issue vendors on their journey away from homelessness.
The 15 mile route will take in London’s most iconic landmarks (which look all the more impressive at night!) and take rest stops at several fascinating buildings with a historical connection to the homeless community. You’ll even be treated to a music gig at one.
One walker has said “it gives people an opportunity to go and demonstrate just how committed we are…to making a difference in our local communities …I would encourage every one to participate - you’ll have an immense amount of fun and make a significant
contribution to The Big Issue Foundation”
This is a fantastic opportunity to join other like-minded people who have a sense of adventure and a desire to help empower homeless and vulnerable people across the UK.
- 25kms exploring London’s streets through the night
- London as you’ve never seen it before – watch the city awaken!
- Access some of London’s most inspiring organisations and buildings
- Meet vendors and hear their stories first-hand
