For Big Issue vendors change begins with their first sale of a magazine. Success requires the skills to make a face to face sale. Many of our supporters come to us because of a personal connection with their regular vendor; the relationship that is established and
the positive feelings that come from supporting someone who is engaged in one of the toughest jobs in the country.
For many supporters this initial relationship is the start of a journey and we have an extensive menu of opportunities to get involved and to do a little more.
Big Issue vendors are at the heart of our work and our engagement programme is geared towards including them in as many activities as possible.
From joining one of our events, doing your own thing to volunteering some time or hosting a vendor placement as part of our corporate engagement programme, their are many great ways for supporters to help vendors in their journeys away from homelessness.
Our work is only possible because of the great support that we receive from individuals, charitable trusts and corporate businesses.
