Real
Lives, Real Achievements is an annual awards event which aims to recognise and
celebrate our remarkable vendors and the brave steps they have taken in their
jounrney away from homelessness.
From overcoming long-term drug addiction, to successful completion of a vocational course; from charitable work to starting a business - each story represents immense personal triumph in the face of adversity.
The tenacity and bravery which these individuals has demonstrated makes them a credit to The Big Issue and to society, and in recognition of their achievements we are awarding each of them the status of Big Issue Ambassdor.
