Big Issue Scotland awards triumph
Friday 27th of November 2009 The Big Issue in Scotland is celebrating after scooping a
hat-trick of awards at the Scottish Magazine of the Year Awards last
night. The magazine triumphed in three categories at the PPA event, at
Our Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh. Adam Forrest was named Feature Writer of
the Year, designer Mark Neil accepted the award for Consumer Magazine Best Design,
both for the second consecutive year, and editor Paul McNamee was awarded Editor of
the Year. McNamee commented: “We are delighted. These awards are
recognition of the work every member of the team – from editorial and design
through to advertising, distribution and our vendors – has put in to make
this a great magazine.”
