We appreciate the continued generosity our supporters show us but we understand sometimes circumstances change. If you'd like to make changes or cancel your regular donation you can find information on this below.

I want to increase/decrease my direct debit

You can upgrade your direct debit online by completing this web form here or if you prefer you can download and print this paper form and send it back to our freepost address: FREEPOST RTTS-JGTR-LRYR, The Big Issue Foundation, 113-115 Fonthill Road, Finsbury Park, London, N4 3HH

Alternatively, to make changes to your direct debit including downgrades, payment holidays and upgrades, you can call 020 7526 3458 or email foundation@bigissue.com with your request. We’re here Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5.30pm and would be very happy to help.

You do not need to cancel your gift and set up a replacement one as we will process this directly for you. We collect our direct debits on the 1st and 15th of every month. Upon receipt of your amendment please allow 10 working days for us to complete the changes before the new collection will be due. We will confirm the details (phone, post and/or email) once we have completed the request.

I want to change direct debit banking details

If you would like to make any changes to your banking details, collection date and/or frequency please either call 020 7526 3458 or email foundation@bigissue.com with your request. Please do not email your bank details. You do not need to cancel your gift and set up a replacement one as we will process this directly for you.

I want to cancel my direct debit

To downgrade or cancel your direct debit or take a payment holiday please either email foundation@bigissue.com or call 020 7526 3458.

Please allow 5 working days for us to complete the changes, if your gift is due in the next 5 days we will not be able to complete the cancellation in time with your bank.

Alternatively you can cancel this directly with your bank via online banking, over the phone or face to face in-branch.

I want to amend/cancel my standing order

Unfortunately we can’t amend or cancel standing orders on supporter’s behalf as the account holder is the sole controller of the payment. Therefore, if you need to cancel or amend a standing order you will have to action this from your end direct with your bank.

All banking institutions have this service available online with online banking, over the phone via telephone banking and face to face in-branch.

Your support funds our network of Service Brokers to accurately identity the health, housing, employment and other support needs of a Big Issue vendor and provide expert information, advice and guidance best able to address these needs to create real personal change.
