Do you want to run the iconic Bath Half Marathon and help end poverty and exclusion for Big Issue vendors while you do? Join The Big Issue Foundation team on Sunday 17th March 2019.

The events team will go the extra mile to support you on your journey! We have a small Bath Half Marathon team which means we can provide plenty of bespoke support and advice for your fundraising. And, if you already have a place through the ballot you won’t have a target – just raise as much as you can to support our work.

The Vitality Bath Half Marathon – or the ‘Bath Half’ as it is affectionately known, is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. It is also the largest charity fundraising event in the South West region. The course itself is fast and flat making it suitable for all abilities – for beginners whose key objective is to complete the course, to more regular long-distance event runners, looking to beat their personal best time. It covers a two lap 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic-free course straddling both sides of the River Avon. The race starts and finishes in Great Pulteney Street, in the heart of the World Heritage City of Bath.

What are the benefits of joining The Big Issue Foundation team? Well, not only will you get advice and support with your training and fundraising all the way up to race day and beyond, an enthusiastic cheering team on the day, and you also get the much sort after official Big Issue Foundation running jersey which we hope you will wear with pride, knowing that your fundraising will be making a BIG impact for the people that need it the most.
