The Big London Night Walk returns in March 2016, after its fantastic success this year. Sign up for a Friday night with a difference, and make a difference to the lives or hardworking Big Issue vendors on their journeys away from homelessness.
It will be an experience like no other. Starting off in central London at St John’s Church, Waterloo (home to one of The Big Issue magazines distribution points), the unique route through central London will take you on a tour of the iconic sites at night. We’ll visit locations connected with our important work, and you’ll get the opportunity to hear personal insights from Big Issue vendors along the way.
Join us to see your capital in a brand new light and know that you’re supporting the fight against poverty and homelessness.
Hot drinks and light snacks will be provided along the way at our rest stops. St John’s church will remain open for participants until transport re-starts, as your finish time is likely to be between 2am and 5am, depending on your speed and time at rest stops.
Whether you’re a group of friends looking to get fit by training for an alternative night out, or an individual looking to see a different side to London, this is the charity event for you! Join The Big Night Walk London 2016 with a team of 5 for a reduced registration fee!
All the money raised from The Big Night Walk 2016 will support the vital work of The Big Issue Foundation so we can help more Big Issue vendors in their difficult journeys away from homelessness. In the knowledge of this, you’ll be motivated to take every step until you reach the finish in the early hours on the Saturday morning.
