Organise your own

Why not raise money for The Big Issue Foundation by hosting your own event, or get sponsored to stay quiet for a day...host a stall at a car boot fair...or climb Kilimanjaro!

The Big Issue Foundation relies on people from all walks of life doing all kinds of things to raise money to support Big Issue vendors on their journey forward from poverty and exclusion. Without you, we wouldn't be able to fund our vital services to support some of the most vulnerable people in the UK.

Whatever you choose to do, we want to make fundraising to support Big Issue vendors as easy as possible for you. This is why we’ve produced a fundraising guide to give you some ideas of how you could raise money to support our work. Remember you don't have to stick to the ideas in this guide, just let us know what you're planning to do to raise money and we'll personally support you as much as we can!

We’ve also got tons of supporter-written blogs, where you can hear fundraising stories and ideas from our supporters. A favourite ‘organise your own’ blog is from Phil and Sam, who hosted a garden party. Fundraiser George had success by hosting dinner parties, cocktail parties and bake sales.

Get inspired and see what supporters have been doing to raise money for TBIF:
