Get Involved

Many of those that volunteer for charity work with The Big Issue Foundation come to us because of a personal connection with their regular vendor, the relationship that is established and the positive feelings that come from supporting someone who is engaged in one of the toughest jobs in the country. For many supporters this initial relationship is the start of a journey and we have an extensive menu of opportunities to get involved and do a little more to help support people who are homeless. Big Issue vendors are at the heart of our work and our engagement programme is geared towards including them in as many activities as possible.

We’ve created some easy to use resources ideal for assemblies or class talks for KS2 (ages 8 to 11) and KS3 (ages 12 to 16).
