Have you missed out on a ballot place for The Prudential Ride London, or fancy a new challenge? Well there’s great news, we have a limited amount of charity places to fill for this year’s ride and we’d love to have you on our team, fundraising for The Big Issue Foundation.
If you were lucky enough to secure a place in the ballot, you’re still welcome to join our team – you’ll get all the same benefits including a Big Issue cycling jersey, support and advice for your fundraising, and a top quality cheering team on the day!
The Prudential Ride London sees 25,000 riders take to the streets of London and Surrey to complete a modified version of the 100 mile Olympic Road Race route, made famous at the 2012 Olympics. Starting in Queen Elizabeth Park, you’ll cycle on closed roads through the English countryside and into Surrey, before finishing back in The Mall in central London again.
By riding for our team and fundraising money for The Big Issue Foundation you’ll be helping vendors like Matthew, whom The Big Issue Foundation has been able to help in a multitude of ways. From opening up a savings account to support accessing various addiction treatment services, The Big Issue Foundation has been a huge influence on Matthews life.
If we can’t convince you, Mike has completed lots of cycle challenges for The Big Issue Foundation and this year will be his 4th Prudential Ride 100. On his online blog he describes the fantastic supporter atmosphere.
“As usual the crowds through the towns and villages despite the overcast skies were out in their thousands giving raucous encouragement to all the thousands of fast and slow cyclists giving their all for various charities.”
This event proves extremely popular year after year so if you are interested in joining our team do register as soon as possible. If you’re still unsure and need any other information please feel free to contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or 0207 526 3459.
